I am looking for a site that will let me upload a 1.84 gig file. I don't care if its around their, but sendsace will only let me upload 300 megs t a time, and it seemed to take a verry long time. Does anyone know where I can go to do this? thanks, l8r, Mike.

You might also try splitting the file up into multiple, smaller chunks. Slightly more tedious to obtain, but then you also are less likely to get the potential hangups with large file downloads.

I recommend HJ-Split for this. To put the files back together into the original, use JH-Join. You can read more about these two programs here.

simple idea, have your friend set up an ftp or use seans, upload and let them download, that is the best way.

Or zip it. That works as well.

to raith, r these files compatible with the mac? To posts 5 and 6. His laptop has 3 gigs. I don't think that's gonna be anywhere near enough to accomedate a FTP. Second, I have zipped it.

Meh. Click the website link I put with the other two direct download links and find out? The direct download links are for windows, but the link to the site should have Mac versions...

For someone asking if it is available for Mac, it is; it's also for the Windows9x systems, the Windows NT-based OS's, that means, Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista and I think the server versions of Windows.

I was searching for something and came across this. www.filemail.com. Acording to the site, they allow up to 2 gig.
